This cookie policy explains how Operator Labs Ltd ("we", "us") uses cookies and similar technologies on the FleetPro UK website and web applications at www.fleetprouk.co.uk. FleetPro UK is a product of Operator Labs Ltd, not a separate company.

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage and pixels used to remember preferences or measure how a site performs. Under UK law (UK GDPR and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations — PECR), we must tell you about non-essential cookies and obtain your consent before using them, except where they are strictly necessary to provide a service you have requested.

2. How we use cookies

Strictly necessary

These are required for FleetPro UK to work securely. They do not require consent under PECR. Examples include:

  • Authentication and session information needed to keep you signed in (including tokens managed by our authentication provider).
  • Security and abuse-prevention measures (for example rate limiting related to your connection).
  • Storing your cookie preference choice itself (so we know whether you have accepted or rejected optional analytics).

Analytics and performance (optional)

Only if you consent, we load Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights. These help us understand page performance and usage at an aggregate level so we can improve reliability. They are not required to use FleetPro UK. You can reject them and still use the service.

3. Your choices

When you first visit, a banner asks you to accept optional analytics, reject them, or customise your choice. You can change your mind at any time using the Cookie settings link in the website footer. Until you consent, we do not load optional analytics scripts.

4. Third parties

Optional analytics are provided by Vercel, Inc., which hosts FleetPro UK. Other providers that may set necessary cookies or use similar storage as part of the service include Supabase (authentication and session) and Stripe (when you use billing or checkout flows). Map views may request tiles or reverse-geocode lookups from OpenStreetMap / Nominatim. See the Privacy Policy for our full list of service providers and integrations.

5. How long preferences last

Your cookie preference is stored in your browser's local storage. Clearing site data for fleetprouk.co.uk will clear the preference and the banner will appear again.
